Now a Tropical Storm, Sally has moved inland and will move across southern Alabama and extreme western Florida panhandle early through Thursday, over central Georgia on Thursday, and over South Carolina Thursday night.Given no indicators of any potential storm-related emergency, priority, or welfare traffic, the traffic system status has been lowered to Normal Operation.
Net managers and Official Relay Stations in the North Texas Section are actively monitoring the progression of this storm. There are no plans to stand up extended net sessions or take any other storm-related actions at this time.
All traffic nets are now operating during their regularly scheduled hours without restriction on the type of traffic brought to the nets.
With Laura weakening, the State Operations Center ending its monitoring at 2 pm today, and storm-related traffic not materializing as much as it could have, the NTS Status has been lowered from RESPONDING to Monitoring and will remain at this level through end of day Saturday.
